"concurrent.interpreters.Queue" is insuficiently documented #159217

Documentation

Checking up to date documentation at concurrent.interpreters I think some important docs are missing:

  • concurrent.interpreters.create_queue() should documents parameters like maxsize or unbounditems.
  • concurrent.interpreters.Queue only documents id attribute and two exceptions, but misses documenting get(), put(), the *_nowait() variants and their parameters like timeout or delay. Also qsize(), maxsize, etc.
  • There is no example at all of how to connect two or more subinterpreters with a queue. Are subinterpreter queues thread safe inside a given subinterpreter? Are they bidirectional? Can be written/read by several different subinterpreters at the same time?

Thanks.

Hi, thank you for the report, but I think this is a duplicated of #136563.
